The 200-acre park on Si Nakharin Road commemorates His Majesty King Rama IX's 60th birthday in 1987, and comprises a public park, a water park and extensive botanical gardens. A central building displays the works and life of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. It is open to the public every day from 6.00 am-6.00 pm. Admission fee is 10 baht.

          Bus service: Non air-conditioned buses No. 2, 25, 38, 48 and air-conditioned buses No. 1, 8, 11, 13 to Soi Womsuk (Sukhumvit Soi 103) and thence by mini-bus to the park.

          Other public parks in Bangkok include Romaniyanat Park on Mahachai Road, Lumphini Park on Rama IV Road, Saranrom Park at the crossroads of New Road-Rachini, Chatuchak Park on Kamphaeng Phet Road (opposite to the Northern Bus Terminal), Benjasffi Park on Sukhumvit Road etc.

         Siam Water Park in merely a 60-minute drive from the Lard Prao flyover, and is located in suburban Amphoe Minburi. The park features an extensive man-made sea with artificial surf, whirlpools, fountains and waterfalls, and towering water slides amid carefully landscaped gardens. Satellite attractions include children's playgrounds, aviaries, and open zoo and botanical gardens. The complex is open daily from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm (weekdays) and 9.00 am to 7.00am (weekends).           A large scale amusement park is located on Phaholyotin Road on the way to Donmuang Airport. Within its beautifully decorated area, there are linked paths, pools, legendary castles and more than 30 funny toys. Opening time is from 10.00 am-5.00 pm on weekdays and 10.00 am-7.00 pm on weekends. Admission fee costs 100 baht per person. The price plus senice charges is 250 baht a person.

          This amusement park is situated on km. 7 of Rangsit-Ong Kharak Road, a 10 minute drive from Don Muang Airport. It is a beautiful land designed in classic style and decorated with European style plaza, miniature land of the major world legend and exciting playing machines. Open daily from 10.00 am-5.00 pm. except on weekends from 10.00 am-7.00 pm. Admission fee is 95 baht per person. The price plus service charges is 270 baht per person

          This popular tourist attraction is 32 kms. west of Bangkok on the bank of the Thachin river. It boasts large, beautiful and well- maintained gardens and is ideal for a picnic. Admission to the garden is 10 baht. In the resort there is a Thai cultural village where daily at 2.45 pm. an attractive show comences. There are for instance, Thai folk dancing, Thai boxing, sword fighting demonstrations and elephant show. Admission to this show is 220 baht. The resort can be reached by local buses from the Southem Bus Terminal. It is open daily from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm.
